BATAO at the FIFF in Namur 2025

In October 2025, BATAO presented its review at the Namur International French-Language Film Festival, surrounded by its Belgian and Senegalese partners.

The FIFF was the occasion to present the year's review: more than 65 films hosted in Senegal in 2024-2025, and a network growing denser between the two countries.

A delegation from Dakar to Namur

On the programme for these days in Namur: a presentation of the review, visits to Belgian locations and technical industries, and many meetings with professionals from the sector.

These meetings continue work begun from Dakar to Namur. They confirm both industries' desire to coproduce over the long term, as equals.

The delegation brought together the Senegalese team, led by Thierno Ba, and the Belgian partners, among them Wallonie-Bruxelles International, represented in Dakar by Jean-François Pakula.
